Little Miss Sunshine

The little girl from Signs, the young serial killer from Taking Lives, the original guy from Talk Soup, the mom from Sixth Sense, the 40-Year-Old Virgin and a, um, really old guy who's been in lots of stuff.

Good cast, great performances, especially by an obstinate old VW bus. Go see it.

I'll try to catch it. On the other hand, save your money if you were thinking of seeing "Strangers with Candy" - it's made by Comedy Central and it tries to capitalize on the popularity of Steven Colbert. Amy Sedaris just is too, too creepy in this movie. I laughed out loud a couple of times, but mostly I felt ripped off.

Oh, by the way, the "old guy" is Alan Arkin. You may know his son better - Adam Arkin, who has been in Northern Exposure (he was "Adam" - a hermit who just happened to be a gourmet chef with a wife named "Eve," in Chicago Hope (a neuro-surgeon), and in the West Wing (the psychiatrist who treated the President and Josh). But Alan Arkin has been a pretty big deal in his own right - probably his best-known role is in Catch-22 as, I believe, Yossarian.
